No office work, no spreadsheets, no meeting rooms. You’re the face of the restaurant, right there on the floor!
What you’ll be doing
As a manager at Café Nieuw Amsterdam, you’re at the heart of the daily operation. You will:
Lead the team with flair, humour and clear communication
Work actively on the floor – from service to solving everyday challenges
Make sure guests feel welcome and the team runs smoothly
Maintain high standards of quality, pace and atmosphere
Work closely with the General Manager and take on additional responsibilities when needed
Lead by example: visible, involved, positive and always connected with your team
You’ll work under the General Manager, while still having plenty of room to make your own mark.
Who you are
You live in Amsterdam or the surrounding area
You have experience managing a team on the floor in a busy restaurant or hospitality venue
You’re available full-time
You enjoy working alongside your team, coaching them and helping them improve
You’re energetic, solution-oriented and a strong communicator
You enjoy joining an established restaurant and helping make it even better
